In brief...The Early Years National

The Early Years National Training Organisation (EYNTO) is hosting two conferences in Scotland to promote anti-discriminatory policies. The meetings, funded jointly by the Scottish Executive and Highlands and Islands Enterprise, will urge early years employers, local authorities and recently-formed childcare partnerships to ensure they have anti-discriminatory policies in place and explain the consequences of not having such policies. One conference will be held in Glasgow on 16 March and the other in Inverness. For details contact the EYNTOon 01727 738 300. Capability Scotland, thecountry's largest disability organisation, last week launched a website with new features including 'Chatability', a children's chatroom which offers young people with a disability the chance to talk with one another live on a secure site. There is a new navigation system and an online archive of the charity's policies and minutes from key meetings. The site can be found at www.capability-scotland.org.uk
