In brief...You can win

(Photograph) - We have been asked to clarify the rules for those entering the 'Blue's Clues' competition (News, 15 November). All settings in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland are invited to enter the competition offering the opportunity to win valuable prizes for the setting and for one of the children to appear on television. Once all initial entries are in, two or three settings per region will be chosen to receive Blue's Clues drawing materials for children's use in portraying what they would like to talk about on 'Blue's Clues'. After the drawings are sent in two weeks later, regional runners-up will be awarded creative materials such as books, games, play clay and a 'Blue's Clues' playhouse. One overall winning setting will win more 'Blue's Clues' products, and a child from that setting will win the opportunity to appear on the Channel 4 programme. To enter, send a postcard marked 'Blue's Clues' to Nursery World at the address on page 3 by 3 December.
