In sequence

It's time for some action - use stories, rhymes and songs to develop children's understanding of pattern. Many songs, rhymes and stories have a sequence that is important, or a repeated pattern that needs to be remembered. Often, children can invent additions to the patterns. The bear walked over the mountain (repeat three times) To see what he could see.

But all that he could see (repeat twice) Was the other side of the mountain The other side of the mountain (repeat twice) Was all that he could see.

So he ran to another mountain (repeat as first verse, and repeat second verse)
