Nursery World - Kids Planet grows to 107 nurseries

The UK’s third largest nursery group Kids Planet has acquired four new settings, taking its total number of ‘active’ sites to 107.

Horn End Hixton is one of four nurseries recently acquired by Kids Planet

The rapidly expanding group has bought Horn End Nurseries, which operates three settings in Stafford, and separately, The Owls in Bolton.

Established in 1990, Horn End Nurseries consists of three sites in Hixon, Stafford and Rugeley.

Chief executive of Kids Planet Clare Robert said, ‘The four newly acquired nurseries are dedicated providers with a high focus on quality learning experiences both indoors and outdoors, and I see synergies between them and Kids Planet.

‘In February we hit a really important milestone of over 100 nurseries, and the year is off to a fantastic start with this further news. I look forward to the exciting future we have ahead as a company, and to welcoming the children, families and staff from the new nurseries into our family.’
