Kids Planet grows to 125 nurseries

The UK’s third largest nursery group has acquired Choice Childcare - a chain of five settings in North East England.

The deal sees Kids Planet grow to 125 sites, expanding its operation into the North-East for the first time.

Choice Childcare operates nurseries in Westerhope, Gosforth, Cramlington, Wallsend and Sunderland.

Kids Planet’s chief executive Clare Roberts said, ‘We are extremely excited about the acquisition of Choice Childcare which has an established presence in the North-East. As with all our settings, our number one priority is to offer the highest quality of care and education.  We look forward to building on the legacy of the founders by continuing to create environments in which children can develop and thrive’.

Former owner Ajeet Chadda commented, ‘Running and growing Choice Childcare over the past decade or so has been a huge part of our lives, and it was never going to be an easy decision to handover the reigns to anyone.
