The deal sees Kids Planet grow to 125 sites, expanding its operation into the North-East for the first time.
Choice Childcare operates nurseries in Westerhope, Gosforth, Cramlington, Wallsend and Sunderland.

Former owner Ajeet Chadda commented, ‘Running and growing Choice Childcare over the past decade or so has been a huge part of our lives, and it was never going to be an easy decision to handover the reigns to anyone.
‘We wish Kids Planet every success in establishing presence in the North-East.’
Gymfinity Kids
Gymfinity Kids, which operates combined nurseries and gym clubs, has also opened a new setting in Chatham, Kent.

According to the company, the site is its biggest yet offering places for 137 children.
Gymfinity now has seven clubs, with four providing nurseries.
Children attending the settings spend at least 60 minutes on the gym floor each day, as well as attend mindfulness sessions.
