Last chance to sign up for free EYP event

The final few places are still open for booking at the first national Early Years Professional event taking place in Birmingham on Tuesday (14 July).

The free conference, organised by the Children's Workforce Development Council and supported by Nursery World, will be addressed by the new children's minister Dawn Primarolo and clinical psychologist Professor Tanya Byron.

The event will also give early years workers the opportunity to share achievements and exchange ideas in a series of informative seminars. Topics include EYP Networks, The Quality of the EYFS and Working in Partnership with Parents.

Anyone considering undertaking Early Years Professional Status will be able to meet with qualified EYPs and training providers to find out about the different pathways available.

Exhibitors at the event include the DCSF, the EYPs' union Aspect, Unison, the National Day Nurseries Association, Childcare England and the Daycare Trust.

To register as a delegate and sign up for seminars at the event at the International Conference Centre in Birmingham, visit www.greengagelive.com/event/eypsevent09 or phone 020 8481 3360.
