Let them dream

Further to the correspondence about Father Christmas in Nursery World, please let children be children and not little grown-ups. I don't see the need to tell them Father Christmas does not exist. It makes Christmas a magical time of year for young children. They will say when they are ready to give this belief up, because they will start asking questions. We all live in a fantasy world even as grown-ups, as we each have our hopes and dreams.
