Let us know how the sector is doing by taking part in NDNA survey

The National Day Nurseries Association, in partnership with Nursery World, is asking readers to take part in the NDNA's latest six-monthly business survey.

We want to hear from all private, voluntary and maintained nurseries to gain an in-depth insight into the state of the sector. The results will be published in a research report and presented at the NDNA's Essential Nursery conference on 20-21 June in Peterborough.

The bi-annual Business Performance Survey includes questions on occupancy, fees, the funding for two-, three and four-year-olds, expansion plans and a range of issues to compile a picture of how well nurseries are doing in the difficult economic climate and responding to Government initiatives. The findings will contribute to the NDNA's response to policy makers.

National Day Nurseries Association's chief executive Purnima Tanuku said, 'NDNA is pleased to be working with Nursery World to promote our latest six-monthly Business Performance Survey, which is being sponsored by our nursery insurance partner, Pound Gates. Feedback from nurseries is vital so that we can gain an in-depth insight into the state of the sector and use the survey findings to work with government policy makers.
