As a childcare worker, I experienced an 'is it just me?' moment last week.

I had nipped out to the shop to buy a few craft and housekeeping essentials, when I overheard the following exclamation from a woman in an adjacent aisle, who was addressing her young son - 'Kieran, stop waving that sword around, you are going to hurt someone. I have told you before - save it for the nursery!'
