London Marathon

London Marathon runners are being urged to don the vest of the National Society for Epilepsy at this year's race, to help the 300,000 people with the condition in the UK. The charity aims to improve the well-being of those with epilepsy through residential care, rehabilitation, research and information. Among the NSE-sponsored runners will be Graham Rogers, cousin of the NSE's new director of external relations, David Josephs, whose three-year-old son was diagnosed with epilepsy in 2001. Mr Josephs said, 'The tremendous support of individuals in our fundraising efforts is vital and plays a valuable role in raising awareness of the condition too.'
