Children are invited to take photos of celebrations at their childcare setting and send them in to Nursery World with a caption. The competition is organised by Nursery World in conjunction with the Daycare Trust and the nursery group Nursery works Family Solutions, and the winner will be announced during National Childcare Week in May.
The first prize for the winning child is a 75 gift voucher, while the runner-up will receive a 50 gift voucher and the third prize winner a 25 voucher. There are prizes for their carers too - a Polaroid camera for the winner's carer, and disposable cameras and a photo album for the others. The three age categories are: under 5, 5 to 10, and 11 to 14.
