Made it myself

I am a learning support assistant in the reception class of Lincewood Infant School, Langdon Hills, near Basildon in Essex. I was interested to read Jean Evans' ideas for gifts for children to make ('It's a gift', 21 November) and particularly liked the idea of the clay candleholders. I thought they would be perfect Christmas presents for our children to make for their families. We had a wonderful time making them and the families were thrilled. I have enclosed a photograph of George and Phoebe (below) with their masterpieces.

Thank you, Nursery World, for yet another brilliant idea.
