The race, which is now in its 22nd year, aimed to raise more than 10,000 for the charity Cancer Research UK's Children's Cancer Awareness Month. More than 150 contestants in fancy dress, aged 14 to 70, had to navigate balloons filled with flour, jets of foam and limbo poles along the 150m course while balancing a Christmas pudding on a flimsy paper plate.
