Actress Renee Zellweger attended the unveiling of a statue honouring Beatrix Potter in the Lake District, where she is currently filming a biopic of the children's author. The statue is 15ft tall and shows three children with Jemima Puddleduck, said the BBC.
A primary school teacher from Aberdeenshire has invented a walking harness for a group of children to wear on school outings. The 'Walkodile' makes them look like one big crocodile and safely links up six children aged from three to seven by clips attached to a central spine. Elaine Stephens has remortgaged her house to market her invention, reported the Daily Record.
