Parents in Sweden are now free to name their newborns Budweiser or Metallica, following a relaxation in laws that banned naming children after fast-food chains, rock bands or brands of beer, according to The Guardian.
'There is nothing negative about a name like Coca-Cola or McDonald'stoday,' a tax authority spokesman said. Swear words for names are stillforbidden.
Marilyn Ritchings, 67, from Penzance, became a grandmother andgreat-grandmother on the same day, said the Metro.
