Teachers are being forced to potty-train young children and show them how to use a knife and fork, according to the Daily Mail. It said that parents were 'passing their children's upbringing to schools'.

The Sunday Times ran a story on the social impact of immigration on Britain, revealing that nearly half the babies in greater London are now born to immigrant mothers.

Swimming goggles and plasters for cuts are the latest items that schools in some local authorities are banned from using, the Daily Mail reported. The paper said that many teachers are now 'concerned that parents will sue if the child reacts to the plaster'. According to Gloucestershire County Council, swimming goggles can be a 'hazard' if children put them on themselves.
