A significant area of change is the way in which evidence is gathered for portfolios.
Evidence can now be used widely across different units, as long as it is valid and authentic, and enables the assessor to make fair and safe assessment decisions.
Given that evidence of a candidate's performance will be drawn primarily from 'work activities that take place under normal working conditions in a normal work environment', the primary source of evidence is going to be direct observation of performance by the candidate's assessor.
