(Photograph) - Three members of the National Day Nurseries Association who were nominated by colleagues for their outstanding commitment to supporting the NDNA and nurseries in their areas have become the first recipients of the NDNA's Champion Awards. NDNA chief executive Rosemary Murphy (far left) and chair Sarah Carr (far right) presented the awards to (from left) Paula Kneale of Hazelwood Day Nursery in Edgeley, Stockport, Jane Orme of Rocking Horse Day Nursery in Nottingham and Carol Leech of Buckinghams Day Nursery in Leek, Staffordshire. Ron Finlay of Community Playthings was also on hand to donate 1,500 of equipment to reward the champions.
