The National Day Nurseries Association has launched an online learning portal called the Early Years Development Zone in response to the need for up-to-date, affordable training. It brings together a range of key areas to suit managers and practitioners, and allows learners to work entirely online and at a pace to suit themselves.
Each course is CPD UK certified and on completion learners will receive credits towards their professional portfolio and a certificate.
Courses start at £24 for NDNA members and include the 'beginner's guide to small business finance', 'marketing and sales', and 'safer recruitment'.
The NDNA says it will update and add new services to the Early years Development Zone regularly to ensure it is cost-effective and accessible to the sector.
