The National Day Nurseries Association reports growing popularity for its programme of cost-effective regional training events, which was launched in July.
The range of courses, priced at £55 for members, includes 'Keeping children safe from harm', 'Special educational needs and disability awareness', 'An update on the EYFS' and 'Running a successful nursery business'.
Stella Ziolowski, director of Quality and Workforce Development at the NDNA, says, 'In a challenging economic climate it is crucial to grow the skills of staff and these sessions provide an ideal solution.'
