Providing opportunities to work on a large scale is essential for young children, and one of our most useful and popular items of equipment is our giant construction set (see panel).

Our system is modular and particularly flexible, but other good sets should also provide children with the means to build by themselves or work with others to plan and design structures.

Working with large construction helps children to work towards reaching early learning goals in all areas of learning, but particularly physical, mathematical and creative development and knowledge and understanding of the world.
