New course to promote research into early years music

Careers & Training
Dr Susan Young from the University of Exeter is leading a postgraduate programme in early years music, aimed at practitioners, workshop leaders, music therapists and anyone with an interest in the field.

The seven-day course is being delivered by the Centre for Research in Early Childhood in Birmingham and can be studied on a distance learning basis. It is hoped that the course will encourage research in early years music.

Stage 1 and 2 modules consist of seven individual study days spread across the academic year, combined with one-to-one tutor support. Students can complete Stage 1 to gain a Post Graduate Certificate in Education,  1 and 2 Modules to gain a Post Graduate Diploma in Education or Stage 1 and 2 Modules with a Dissertation to gain a Masters Degree.
