Childminders in Northern Ireland can be nominated by parents for the 2005 Childminder of the Year award run by dairy manufacturer Cow & Gate in association with the Northern Ireland Childminding Association. Nominees must be a member of NICMA and entered by 14 October. First prize is 500, with five runner-up prizes of 50, and the nominator of the winner will receive 100.
