Cars and cakes
Children have been busy raising money for Children in Need. At theUniversity of Hertfordshire's day nursery in Hatfield they cleaned cars,earning over 700 for the charity. At the Nursery on the Green inFrimley Green, Surrey,they raised 90 from the sale of theirhomemade cakes.
Helping Kosovo
Northern Ireland childminder Jane Blair of Janesweans organised asponsored walk by the children she cares for to raise funds for theKosova support group in Holywood, County Down. She said, 'It was aprofitable day not just in terms of money but also in raising thechildren's awareness of those less fortunate than themselves. Wethoroughly enjoyed the day.'
