Nursery at centre

Feltham Hill Children's Centre in the London Borough of Hounslow ispreparing to open its new 35-place nursery on Monday 14 January, to berun by the Middlesex-based chain Once Upon a Time Day Nurseries. Areamanager Lorna Hackland-Crowther said, 'We are delighted to be able towork closely with Hounslow Borough Council to create this excitingopportunity that will bring great benefits, not just for our childrenbut to the wider community as a whole.'

Extending services

Building work on a 150,000 extension to Kingswood Children'sCentre in Corby, Northamptonshire, is due to be finished at the end ofFebruary. Kingswood councillor John McGhee said, 'We are hoping toattract families from other areas and provide more services that theyneed and want. I'd like to thank the parents and staff for beingfantastic and working extremely hard.'
