Children and staff at Fenstanton Pre-School near Huntingdon,Cambridgeshire, enjoyed holding a Nigerian Day with help from one of theparents. They all dressed up in traditional clothing, played withtraditional toys, learned several words from the country, coloured inthe national flag, and sampled characteristic Nigerian food.

Bishopswood Day Nursery in Reading, which launched a new website lastmonth, is celebrating after being rated Good in its latest Ofstedinspection. The nursery was praised for its 'warm and welcomingenvironment where children are cared for and get a good start to theirearly education'. Nursery manager Barbara Ashley said, 'I am verypleased with the report and feel that the commitment the nursery andstaff have made to training has proved fruitful.'
