Uno, dos, tres

Children at Stanlaw Abbey Community Nursery in Ellesmere Port,Merseyside have been learning to speak Spanish thanks to nursery nurseMonica, who comes from Peru. The children have learnt how to count toten and are now looking at animals, transport, food and colours. Toenhance the children's learning, staff at the nursery have made aSpanish display with the national flag, a map of Spain and famouslandmarks.

Count your Chickens

The hatching of chicks has given children at Silks Farm Nursery Schoolin Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, where they have been incubating, a lessonon life cycles. The chicks have now been re-homed by many of thechildren's parents.
