Things were all wrapped up when children at Pumpkin Patch Nursery inFarnborough were visited by St John's Ambulance for an afternoon ofbandaging. They learned about the work volunteers do at the first-aidcharity as part of their People Who Help Us project.

Teddies Nursery in Tonbridge, Kent, raised 263 for the BrainInjury Centre when they came dressed in their sleepwear for a PyjamaDay. Nursery manager Melissa Bacon said, 'Everyone had lots of fun, evenif the children were a little confused because they didn't need to getdressed for nursery that day.'

- Quality assured

Penrith Pre-School in Cumbria is celebrating after being presented witha Quality Assurance Award by Eden District Council. It is one of thefirst settings in the Eden area to have been awarded recognition for itshigh-quality, friendly, stimulating and enabling environment.
