EVENTS

Keep on waddling

The Meningitis Trust is inviting babies, toddlers and children to take part in its annual Toddle Waddle this April. Now in its 11th year, the sponsored walk or waddle for children under five years old helps to raise funds for support services for families in need. The sponsor of this year's Toddle Waddle is HiPP Organic, which has worked in partnership with the Trust since 2008 to raise awareness of meningitis.

To register for the event visit www.meningitis-trust.org/toddlewaddle.

- Correction

The nursery pictured marking the eclipse of the sun on 15 January in last week's Noticeboard was Little Acorns Nursery in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, not Little Acorns, Gomersal, as stated.

PHOTO OF THE WEEK - Leapfrog Day Nursery in Oldbrook, Buckinghamshire, invited parents to breakfast to mark Farmhouse Breakfast Week on 24-30 January. At the annual event, which highlights the importance of breakfast in a healthy diet, parents could sample different locally produced foods their children enjoy.
