MAKING MOTHER'S DAY

Early years settings across the country celebrated Mother's Day on 18 March. Tendercare Nursery in West Croydon, Surrey (below) invited the children's mothers and other female relatives in to take part in activities. Younger children at Grena Road Children's Nursery and Pre-School in Richmond started their own pretend florist shop.

ON THE BALL

Children at Stepping Stones Day Nursery in Nottingham showed their support for Nottingham Rugby Club and its bid to get into the premiership next season, by holding a rugby-themed day. The children, who all dressed as rugby players, were joined in their activities by some of the players from the senior rugby squad as well as the club's mascot Archie the Stag.
