Don't judge a book by its cover. When this book first arrived, I had a quick flick through it and decided it would be fine for my level 2 CCEs.

The large format, bright colours and bold headings make it look similar to their regular textbook. But closer examination showed it to be aimed at Foundation Degree students and first-year undergraduates.

The simplicity of this book is deceptive. Written by a team of lecturers involved in the Sure Start Sector-Endorsed Foundation Degree programme, it is in an accessible style, even for your most reluctant students. It gives a good basic understanding of many of the most relevant early years topics.
