Parent Information Point Toolkit

Practitioners in school and community settings could benefit from a new resource, the Parent Information Point Toolkit: Resources for Setting up Workshops for Parents in Schools and Community Centres, published by the National Family and Parenting Institute and funded by the DfES. It offers guidance and resource material for setting up workshops in schools and community centres, outlines the challenges families face at key transition points in their children's lives, and gives details about accessing local services, helplines and drop-in centres. The toolkit comprises anl A4-sized book, a CD-Rom and a poster, and costs 39 including VAT. Contact the NFPI on 01787 249 287.
