Parentsnet site

A website for parents in Wales aims to give them information on all they need to know about their children's education. The parentsnet site offers advice on each stage of a child's educational life, from the early years onwards, and includes advice on how to choose a school, special educational needs provision, the curriculum and assessment, along with useful links. Jane Davidson, education and lifelong learning minister, said, 'I would encourage all parents in Wales to look at the site on a regular basis. New information will appear regularly as we aim to keep the site lively and accessible to all.' The website has been developed by the Welsh Assembly's department for training and education. It can be found at both www.learning.wales.gov.uk/parents and www.dysgu.cymru.gov.uk/rhieni.
