The Cardiff Network, open to local NDNA members, will aim to share information and good practice and work closely with the Care Standard Inspectorate for Wales, the Welsh Assembly government and local Early Years Development and Childcare Partnerships to see that day nursery care meets the expectations of the Government and the children's families.
NDNA chief executive Rosemary Murphy said, 'This marks an exciting step in the NDNA's development in Wales. I will be meeting with Jane Hutt, minister of health and social services, to discuss the role of day nurseries in the delivery of high-quality childcare places in Wales and how the NDNA can develop a support infrastructure for them.'
