Providers' perceptions of inspections

Providers' perceptions of inspections were revealed last week in an independent survey for Ofsted. Speaking at a Daycare Trust conference, Dorian Bradley, deputy director of early years at Ofsted, said, 'Over 95 per cent thought inspectors were professional and courteous, and carried out the inspection in a way that caused minimal disruption, and 92 per cent said they were satisfied with the registration process.'
