This week: Discovery fun - will it fit?, exploring pattern, shape and early counting

What you need:
* cardboard tubes of different sizes
* toy cars, bricks and balls
What you do:
1 Sit with the child on the floor and explore all the tubes. Bang them, rub them together, tap your fingers on the end, blow and peek through them.
Sing down the tube.
2 Bring out the balls. Give the child plenty of time to explore them. Roll them through the tubes.
3 Add cars and bricks. Talk about what the child is doing, providing a simple commentary with short phrases.
