Rosemary Murphy, chief executive of the National Day Nurseries Association, was awarded the OBE by Prince Charles at Buckingham Palace in honour of her work steering the development of the NDNA in a voluntary capacity as chair and as chief executive. She said, 'I am delighted to receive this honour and pleased to accept it as a recognition of the work of the NDNA. This acknowledges how much society now values day nursery provision.'
