This may be a short book, but what a goldmine it is! Written by speech and language therapists, the book is based on a project in collaboration with early years practitioners, to help children develop phonological awareness skills.

The book is packed full of valuable games and activities that focus on specific phonological areas.

Each game or activity is presented in a user-friendly format, with the details of its aim, its level, the required materials and how to play, all clearly explained.

There is a useful further reading list, a set of photocopiable sheets to help make the cards used in some of the games and a photocopiable progress record sheet enabling you to keep track of each child's development with respect to the programme.
