- How do you feel about being awarded an MBE in the Queen's BirthdayHonours List?
I am really pleased and a bit astounded, and I still don't know whonominated me. I have been told that I will receive the MBE in the nextsix months but won't find out the exact date until six weeksbeforehand.
- Why do you think you were nominated?
It's because of the work I do with families, providing support and helpto families who have travelled to the UK from war-torn countries. I helpthem get on the housing list, fill out forms and get their children anursery or school place. With the help of an interpreter and anassistant I also look after their children, while they attend Englishclasses.
