- Why are you celebrating?
We've just been graded outstanding in our first Ofsted inspection. Thenursery only opened in February and we had our first Ofsted inspectionlast month.
- How did the nursery staff react when they found out?
Everyone was proud; they all worked extremely hard. The staff gave uptheir evenings and weekends and really pulled together. I am so proud ofthe team, as without them we would not have been graded outstanding.We've got a big surprise planned for staff to say thank-you, a big nightout within the next few weeks.
- What did the inspector say about the nursery?
She didn't give us any areas for improvement, which she said was unusualfor a new nursery. She highlighted that we have more staff per childthan we need under the ratios and she praised the quality and range offood we provide for the children. She also highlighted the wide varietyof activities on offer.
