- Why and how did you set up soft play area, Bamboozles?
I had the idea about ten years ago after visiting a soft play area in Norfolk and realised there was nothing like it in County Durham. I applied for funding from Be Enterprising, the local enterprise growth initiative, who gave me £3,000 towards the build of the soft play area. I raised the rest myself. It took three years from finding a suitable building to creating the soft play area.
- Why did you decide to give up childminding?
I decided it was just the right time to do it. I worked as a childminder for four years with a maximum of ten children on my register.
