- Why did you decide to volunteer as a classroom assistant?
While bringing my granddaughter to the nursery last year, I was asked ifI would like to work here. I was really impressed with the school andlove being with the children. I work one afternoon and one morning aweek, helping out in any way I can, from reading the children a story togiving them their snack.
- How did you get the nickname Nana Betty?
I introduced myself to the children as Betty, but because I am older anda nanny I have become known as Nana Betty by both the staff andchildren.
