Position: Founder of fruit bouquet business Tooty Fruity, and qualified nursery teacher

- How did you come up with the idea for your Making Fruit Fun kits?

I won a BT small business competition and was awarded mentoring sessionswith Peter Jones from Dragons' Den. During the sessions I was given abrief for a product that would encourage children to eat more fruit in afun way.

- What can children do with the kits?

The kits come with a template, base and instructions. Children can createdifferent animals such as Olli the Orang-utan and the Lioness usingdifferent fruit and with adult supervision.

- How will you be developing the Making Fruit Fun kits?

We will be developing hundreds more animals for children to create. At themoment we are working on seasonal characters such as the Easter Bunny andFather Christmas. The packs will be available from supermarkets in spring2010. To register your interest, visit: www.fruitisfun.com.
