What made you enter the Miss Newcastle contest?
My mum and boyfriend have been telling me to enter for years now. I'dalways wanted to but never had the confidence. Then this year I thought,it's the start of a new year, why not do something different? I'm downto the final 20.
What happens next?
The winner will be announced at an event at the Marriott hotel inGateshead, on Thursday (8 May). She will go through to the semi-finalsof Miss England and gets 500 cash, plus 500 vouchers forthe Nu-Age Medical Spa, who are sponsoring the competition.
How are you feeling about the event?
I'm very nervous. We have to strut our stuff wearing three differentoutfits, including swimwear, in front of the judges, one of whom wonMiss England last year. I'm quite slim anyway, but I've still been goingto the gym for the last few weeks! I've also been signed up to Tyne TeesModels and I'm really excited about the possibility of doing moremodelling in the future.
