Position: Retiring head teacher of Alyth Kindergarten at North WesternReform Synagogue in London

- Why have you decided to retire?

I have worked at the kindergarten for 23 years, 15 of those as headteacher. I've loved every minute of it but just felt it was time to moveon. I will really miss everyone here, my colleagues have been fantasticand we really do have a marvellous team.

- How will you celebrate and what do you plan to do next?

Past and present children and parents have been invited to a big teaparty that the parents committee are holding for me at the end of thismonth. There are lots of things that I want to pursue once I retire. Iwould like to be involved in a consultancy capacity for the early yearsand have had several offers.
