Taking over our job

I am a qualified special needs nursery nurse and I am outraged at the prospect of classroom assistants taking classes. I do not feel that people like myself, who have been to college and trained for two years, are even being taken into consideration. Classroom assistants are taking over our jobs, which I have seen first-hand that they are not fully equipped to do. So how on earth are they going to be able to fill in for teachers?
