The approval body for the 'light touch' accreditation scheme for home-based childcarers, which will operate from next April, has been named by the DfES. Nestor Primecare Services is a leading healthcare provider, and by approving certain childcarers it will allow more parents to become eligible for the childcare element of the Working Tax Credit. Details are to be announced by children's minister Margaret Hodge at a Sure Start conference in London this week.
