The Children's Workforce Development Council for England is consulting stakeholders on its proposed governance structure in preparation for its full launch in April. The council, one of five bodies that will form the federated UK Skills for Care and Development Sector Skills Council, will focus on workforce development through training provision, career progression and improved workforce mobility. The consultation, which runs until 20 January, seeks views on the operation of the council and the composition of its permanent board.
