The Criminal Records Bureau has decided to remove the volume-related acceptance criteria from the terms and conditions of its 'payment on account' (POA) facility, giving at least 500 more organisations in England the chance to access the credit facility. The CRB has made the change following complaints from registered bodies that had been turned down for the POA facility because of the low number of Disclosure applications they would be making. Registered bodies wanting to find out more about POA status should call the CRB on 0870 909 0811.
