The DfES Children's WorkforceDevelopment Council and SkillsActive have joined forces to raise awareness of the new National Occupational Standards (NOS) in Children's Care, Learning and Development, and in Playwork, through a targeted marketing campaign. Over the next six months they will be launching leaflets, exhibiting at conferences and holding regional seminars about the new NOS and the transitional modules that will enable members of the workforce to move between the playwork and childcare sectors without having to gain additional full qualifications.
